Let's Catch up!

Hello All!
It's been quite a while since I posted last. I had a miserable cold and cough that lasted for two weeks and even when I was back at work, I wasn't feeling myself so my OOTD weren't up to par to post. I've still managed to keep up on the Spring trends and have an ongoing lust list. I must say, H&M has really seen a lot of me with their new Spring duds. They have soo many cute things. My last post, I showed you a cute dress and blazer I picked up from H&M and I have to tell you, I've worn that blazer at least 3 times already. For $34.95, it was a great buy! I went back a few days later and picked up this super cute ruffle skirt for $19.95 and these two T's for $9.95 each. I plan to go back and pick up a few more colors in the lace sleeve tee.

Here's my OOTD starring some of these pieces:

Here's one of my most favorite pieces of jewelry. It's my wrap around snake cuff bracelet. I bought this last summer online for probably about $25 and I've gotten so much use out of it and soo many compliments on it. It adds a little interest and edge to any outfit. The colored stones are so pretty and add a little shine!

Due to the nasty weather we've had here in NYC, I took advantage of being stuck at home to do some online shopping. I shopped F21 online and picked up a few cute pieces for Spring. My first buy was my most favorite skinny jeans ever- F21's $9.50 Fab Skinny jeans. For less than $10, they are awesome! Great fit, stretches just enough and washes well.

Then I spotted this super cute floral cardigan that I think will be perfect with skirts, dresses or jeans. It's from their new "Country" inspired Twist line. I love the colors in this cardigan and the ruffled hem.

Peplum Country cardigan $22.80

This cardigan had me feeling all girly and thinking florals, so I spotted this super cute skirt and had to have it. I love the back detailing on it as well.

Floral Art Woven Skirt- $17.80

I religiously refer to Shop Bop's lookbook and new arrivals to get inspired and find less expensive alternatives to some of the great pieces and outfits they post. I totally recommend viewing their website for looks, www.shopbop.com. So, I spotted an awesome pair of Joie suede lace of ankle booties, that could be worn now or for Spring. With a price tag of over $300, I knew they couldn't be mine but did find a similar, less expensive alternative that fed my need for these shoes.

Joie I will survive lace up booties -$325

Open Toe Oxford Heels- $25.80

Not a perfect match, but same concept and I know I can work them into my wardrobe. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can fore go tights and rain and snow boots for bare legs and peep toes! Another shoe I recently purchased that filled another item on my Spring lust list, is a super cute and sexy caged pump I found on dsw.com. I have a few coupons and discounts so it came out to less than $40 and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of these. They can work with jeans, skirts. leggings or dresses. I <3 these!!

Diba Selena bootie -$49.95

I plan on banning myself for the next two weeks from shopping except for a classic and timeless purchase I have been eyeing for a few weeks. I'm in need of a new trench and checked out Banana Republic's classic trench last week. All I can say is, Gorgeous! The fit and cut it so flattering and the button details and silouhette are timeless. I picked up the 40% off one full price item coupons last week, so that's what I'll be purchasing on Wednesday. After that, I'm done....for now. I know, I always tell myself that and never stick to it. Take a look at this beauty that will be mone this week.

Banana Republic Classic trench- $198

That's all for now and I'll definitely be back to posting my OOTD this week. Happy Shopping!

Happy Valentine's Day and some new loves...

Hello All and Happy Valentine's Day!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend and enjoying this love day as well. Me and hubby just went out for a nice breakfast this morning and spent the rest of the day relaxing. He just cooked a really awesome and delicious dinner for me. I am a very lucky woman!! My lovely DD and hubby also surprised me this morning with my absolutely go-to, favorite perfume, Unforgiveable by Sean Jean. I have been wearing this fragrance since it came out a few years ago and I get soo many compliments on it. It's just soft and pretty. I was running pretty low on my current bottle, so this couldn't have come at a better time. Now, on to some recent buys, wants and some O'sOTD.

So, after being sick for nearly 2 weeks, I am almost back to feeling like myself again. While I was home all of those days sick, there wasn't much to do but watch tv and do some online shopping. I picked up these super cute cheapie boots from Old Navy. I initially saw them in store but they were all sold out in my size. What do you think? I think they'll look really cute with skirts, dresses or even leggings and skinny jeans.

Old Navy Women's Tall Faux Leather Boots- $34.50

After work on Friday, I headed to a few stores to pick up a few things that were on my wish list for Spring. My first stop was Old Navy, here's what I got:

Old Navy Women's Chambray Camper Shirt- $24.50

I LOVE this shirt. The darting in the front and back is so flattering and it's light weight, so definitely something I can wear through Spring and Summer over pretty dresses and tanks. Next, I headed to H&M where I picked up a navy striped L/S top. It has a boat neck opening which I find so flattering. Here's my OOTD from Saturday with a combination of my buys:

Shirts- H&M striped top, ON chambray button down, NY & Co. sweater vest in gray
Jeans- F21 skinny
Boots-Target "knockoff Frye harness" Katherine Engineer boots

I also picked up this dress at H&M that I had eyed a few weeks ago. I totally love this color and material. It lays so nicely and the fit is lovely. I styled it with this "to die" for jacket I also found in H&M. The tailoring and drapey collar make it special. It's not an ordinary blazer or jacket but gives a simple dress a little edge. I'm thinking of wearing this to work tomorrow, take a look:

I'm so glad to be back blogging and hope to bring you some new OOTD this week. It's still super cold in NYC and we just had a blizzard this past week as well so I'm hoping most of the snow melts and some milder weather comes out way. I'm ready for Spring! Have a great week and Happy Shopping!

Home Sick (again) and some online buys

Hello All!
Happy Thursday and I hope everyone has been having an awesome week. Unfortunately, I've been home sick the past 2 days with a terrible cold and cough. I did take advantage of a few online deals recently and I wanted to share a few of my buys. On Tuesday, QVC had every item on 4 easy pays so I decided to take advantage and order the Magic Drawers 15 piece Large Interlocking Storage System I recently posted about to help organize my shoes. It shipped for about $10!

Once I receive it, I'll be sure to post my reviews and some IRL photos. I will for sure need more than just these 15 piece set, but will add to it over time. I also purchased another item I have been eyeing recently. I had recently posted that I won a lovely Rebecca Minkoff MAC on ebay but unfortunately, the listing was cancelled shortly after I won it :( No reason from the seller, just cancelled! I was so upset as the bag was just lovely but I took it as, it just wasn't meant to be. I decided to go for a second runner up, which turns out was a great deal with the QVC 4 easy pays, the SAK Silverlake Convertible Satchel in Dark Amber. This color is so lovely and the leather seems super soft. I love this color for spring/summer as well. This shipped for about $37.

I recently bought these last week and just received them. I thought this wedge was perfect for spring paired with flirty skirts and floral dresses. I love the color as well. I got these for less than $30 after a $10 off promotion, a $20 DSW rewards coupon and free shipping of course!

Seychelles Follies II suede wedge pump

Sorry for not posting any OOTD pics, but I have strictly been in pj's and a robe with socks, not a pretty pic at all. I'm feeling absolutely icky and just want to feel well again. Thanks for looking and Happy Shopping!

Fashion Police: Grammy's edition

Hello All! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! I started feeling a bit under the weather this weekend, therefore, there were no shopping excursion for me. I hope everyone else had luck shopping. I won't be posting an OOTD today since I wasn't feeling well and really didn't put much thought into my outfit today. I did want to post some of my best and worst pics from the Grammy's red carpet last night. Did everyone else watch? I didn't watch the show but always love the red carpet.
Here's my best dressed:

Here's the darling Taylor Swift in an absolutely gorgeous shimmering blue KaufmanFranco form fitting gown. Taylor seems to grow on me more and more.

Here's another close second for me, Lea Michelle from Glee. She's wearing a one shoulder, ruffle navy Romona Keveza dress. Her jewels and accessories work great with this dress and the navy color is so much better than boring black.

Weirdest outfit of the night (should be no surprise here):

The lovely and strange, Lady Gaga. She often scares me but I give her a lot of credit for having the courage and confidence to wear a lot of the stuff she wears.

Worst dressed of the night....also not a big surprise:

Brittany, really? Why? Enough said.

Most disappointing star:

Katy Perry- I usually think Katy has a quirky, unique kind of style and she usually looks super cute to me. I was really disappointed with this one. NUde, gold, shiny almost there, barely there and the color is horrible for her skin tone. Definitely a miss Katy.

Here's a couple of honorable mentions. What's a fashion police at the Grammy's without Rihanna, Beyonce and J LO:

Pink

Hope you enjoyed some of my faves from this year's Grammy's. Hopefully, I'll be back to myself by tomorrow and have an OOTD to post. Happy Shopping!
