Looks I love and FOR LESS!

Hello All!

I hope everyone had a great day today. Today was a really nice day for me and not very stressful, considering I am usually extremely stressed out at work. It turned out to be a pretty sunny and mild day and definitely better than yesterday. I wish I would have worn a skirt or dress today :( I stuck with skinny black pants, a detailed tunic and boyfriend cardi with flats...WOMP WOMP. I know, boring huh?

Well, I wanted to take today to post about some looks I absolutely love and my attempt at recreating them. I LOVE Shopbop's look book and eagerly wait for my weekly email updates with new looks and styles. Honestly, I can't afford a majority of the items shopbop carries, but I love the way they put things together. Today, Shopbop launched 8 work outfits to look polished and sophisticated. I absolutely LOVE these looks and feel like they are so real and easy. These are definitely outfits we all can pull off (ok, maybe all except for the pleated pants =)

This Lela Rose Skirt is GORGEOUS!! Unfortunately, it's $595, so not even an option for me but I just love it. The color, the ruffle detail the fit, just everything! I'm scouring the Internet to find a look a like.

Here's my version of a couple of these looks:

What I'm Wearing:
Skirt- navy H&M
Shirt- L/S striped button down H&M
Shoes- lace up bootie F21
Trench- Banana Republic

What I'm Wearing:
Skirt- Pencil Skirt Express
Shirt- Old Navy floral print tank
Blazer-H&M studded lapel blazer
Shoes- DSW Diba caged bootie

I'm determined to find a similar look to the first one with the seafoam ruffle skirt. I'll be working on that this week. I hope you all liked my "wannabe" outfits and I hope to bring you some more this week. Please click the title for more info on the looks from Shopbop.

Today was also a great day because I found a skirt I have been looking and scouring every H&M from and FINALLY I found it. There was only 2 in the store and one was my size! That never happens to me. I was inspired to try this skirt after seeing a few bloggers wear it and I just thought it was so pretty. Take a look:

I hope everyone has a happy hump day! Happy Shopping!

Candy Apple Red!

Hello All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and start to the work week. I had a pretty quiet and relaxing weekend and just laid low. I had to run a few errands and pick up some baby shower gifts, but other than that, not much. It was pretty cold and gloomy this weekend and today was more of the same. I want more of the Spring/Summer like weather we had a couple of weeks ago.

In any case, I wanted to report on the salon my friend and I went to on Friday for our spa manis and pedis. The place was just lovely. It was a clean, modern atmosphere and the service and prices were great. Last week was spa week so we got spa manis and pedis with green tea and mango extract for $50, and it was SOO worth it! By far, the best pedicure I ever had. The woman who did my nails and feet was super sweet and took her time. She also picked out the PERFECT red polish for me. I've been on a hunt for the prefect red polish for......well, forever and finally found it. I loved it soo much, I bought it. The salon also has an array of other services such as, massages, facials and waxing as well as electrolysis and cellulite recovery treatments. The reviews are great too. I have an appointment on Friday for manicure and bikini wax. Speaking of manicures, this salon actually offers the new OPI-gel soak off manicure which lasts for 2 WEEKS! No chipping, breaking or scuffing your nails. That is really what I need. Usually, 1-2 days after a manicure, I always end up with a chipped nail(s). OPI offers a pretty good range of colors for this gel manicure so I'm excited to try it out and for $25, that's a steal! Click on my title link for more info on Dyanna Body and Nail Spa here in NYC. Take a peak at my 3 day old mani.

Polish- Zoya "Andi"

I'll be happy to report back after my trip on Friday to the salon and let you know about the OPI gel manicure and bikini wax "ouch"...or I hope not at least! As I mentioned before, today was a pretty cold day and and an early work day for me as well. I was in the office at a little after 6:30am and not really inspired to wear anything super cute. I hope to be back tomorrow with an OOTD. Happy Shopping!

TGIF OOTD!

Hello All!

I wanted to post my OOTD from yesterday since I'm still in sweats as I type this. Yesterday was a pretty gloomy and cold Friday but it was a good day. I met up with my friend after work for spa manis & pedis and they were AMAZING! So relaxing after a stressful and busy week. After the salon, we headed to dinner in the Meatpacking District and had some delicious Thai food (and a beer of course). It started pouring rain last night, so didn't make for the best night to be out and about in the city but we had fun nonetheless. I decided to keep it simple and wear my most favorite skinny jeans from F21 and really cute floral cardigan I picked up form F21's Twist line. I paired it with a pair of burgunday/red peep toe wedges. Take a look:

What I'm Wearing:
Cardigan- F21 Twist
Jeans- F21 skinny jeans
Shirt= H&M s/s lace detail detail
Shoes- Kenneth Cole

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm headed to buy a gift for my friends baby shower in a few weeks and then back home. It's another chilly and gloomy day. Happy Shopping!

OOTD: Pretty prints and colors!

Hello All!

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost near and I can't wait! Today was a lovely day in NYC. The sun was shining and the temps were mild. I had an especially nice day today because my friend who recently had a baby stopped by work with the baby! We're not only friends, but co workers as well and I've missed her since she has been on maternity leave. Seeing her beautiful son was such a treat! He is just the cutest and such a good baby. She is truly blessed.

So today I wore some new pieces I picked up at H&M earlier in the week. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I'm trying to add more color and prints into my wardrobe and the minute I saw this adorable skirt, I had to have it. It's so pretty and flowy and the flying bird print is the cutest. This is one of my favorite outfits of recently. Take a look:

What I'm Wearing:
Skirt- H&M
Shirt- H&M white s/s woven
Cardigan- H&M
Necklace- Macy's
Shoes- Payless

I'm happy tomorrow is Friday but not looking forward to the weather. It's supposed to be cold, cloudy and then rainy :( Doesn't make for a good Friday or start to the weekend at all. I'm sure tomorrow's weather will also not bring a very cheerful OOTD, so don't be surprised if I don't post. Have a wonderful Friday and Happy Shopping!

Statement Piece

Hello All!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone has had a nice start to the work week. The weather in NYC yesterday was sunny but a bit chilly, a big change from our summer like weather the week before. I was determined to still wear a dress with bare legs and open toe shoes. I don't think I could ever go back now :) I decided to wear this dress I picked up on sale at the GAP last year and pair it with a new pair of my shoes from TJ MAXX and the new necklace I bought from Macy's. I figured, a black dress needs a pop of color and this necklace was just the statement piece it needed. Take a look:

What I'm Wearing:
Dress- GAP
Belt-F21
Shoes- Franco Sarto
Necklace- Macy's

Today was a cold, dreary day so no OOTD worth posting. Tomorrow is supposed to be a much better day, so I'll be sure to post tomorrow. I stopped in H&M tonight and noticed some new finds. Pretty Spring tops and skirts and a few new accessories. Of course, I scored a few. Also, for you beauty lovers, don't forget, this week is 15% off any purchases in store or online at Sephora (for Beauty Insider members) so take advantage. Use code BI15 or click the title of my blog for the in store print coupon. Happy Shopping!!

In search of Prints.....Dresses that is!

Hello All!

Happy Sunday and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I didn't so much but the normal weekend chores and errands and of course, visited the gym. This weekend was just lovely weather, not to hot and not to cold. I hope this week bring more of the same.

After a stressful work week, I decided to go for a long walk in the city after work on Friday. Of course my walk lead me to store, which lead me to shopping, but what can I say, shopping helps clear my mind. I'm on the hunt for pretty print dresses. I noticed a couple of weeks a go that a majority of my dresses are solid colors. I need to freshen and liven up my dress collection so I first stopped in Macy's to see what I could find. I did pick up a BCBG print empire waist dress (pic to come in an OOTD)and found a cute blue floral print dress with ruffle across the bust and a vibrant orange floral print dress that just made me smile when I saw it from Free People. I could have bought a few more things but had to show some self control. I also snagged this beautiful necklace which kind of reminds me of the Stormy Sea necklace from Anthropologie that I've seen a lot in other blog postings. I thought the colors were so pretty and I loved how the colors went from light to dark stones. Even better, was that it was on sale and came out to $18!

Macy's version

After the gym yesterday I decided to head to TJ Maxx and see if I could find any good deals. Well, I did! I score too HOT pairs of Franco Sarto shoes for $40 each! I'll be wearing one pair tomorrow with my new necklace so I'll be sure to post my OOTD so you can see. I also realized on Friday I needed a white blazer to wear with some of my new dresses and have been looking for a navy striped blazer for a while. I found these from F21 online and decided to give them a try.

White Rosette Blazer -$34.80 F21

Navy Striped Blazer- $24.90 F21

And, to add to my dress collection, I also ordered this tribal print halter dress from F21. I really liked to print of this dress and already had ideas of pairing it with some wood bangles and adding a belt.

Ethnic Print Dress- $19.80 F21

Well, I hope everyone else had a lovely, relaxing and successful shopping weekend. I know I did! I'll be back tomorrow with my OOTD. Have a great Monday!

I hope everyone enjoyed this wonderful Thursday. Only one more day and then the weekend is here! We enjoyed another summer like weather day here in NYC and I took full advantage with a LBD and added some accessories to give it a punch! I also wore a super cute pair of platform sandals I picked up last year from Old Navy. These are one of my favorites and soo comfy considering the height. Take a look at my OOTD:

It's feeling like Summer!

Hello All!

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day in NYC! It was nearly 90 degrees today which is really unusual for this time of year. It was a perfect day to break out a pretty dress and peep toes! I decided to wear a dress I picked up at H&M last week. It's a flowy, floral printed dress with some ruffle detailing around the shoulders. These sandals, I picked up at Banana Republic a few weeks ago during their 40% off promo. I added a blazer to make it more work appropriate and a belt to the dress to define my waist and keep me from looking preggo ;)

I hope you all have broken out your pretty summer dresses and skirts too. I know I'm going to take advantage of this weather for as long as it lasts! Happy Shopping!

Sun Shiny Day!

Hello All!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather was lovely and today was even better! We hit the mid 70's today and I'm looking forward to a few more days of this! The sun and warm weather inspired my outfit today. Although it was Monday, and it's usually my least favorite day of the week, today I felt good. I decided to wear a skirt I picked up at NY & Company this weekend during their 50% off sale. The sale was amazing! I also picked up another pair of my new favorite fit of jeans, boyfriend jeans and a cute ruffle tank. This skirt was only $15 and the tank and cardi are also from NY & Company but from last year. Anytime I wear a pop of yellow in an outfit I always feel bright and happy.

I looking forward to more happy OOTD this week! Happy Shopping!

It's my Boyfriend's Jeans

Hello All!

I'm back to post my OOTD. I know I am late with this trend but I purchased my first pair of boyfriend jeans from Express yesterday and I must say, I LOVE them! They are super comfy and relaxed and I love that they are as versatile as skinny jeans, where you are dress them up or down. I want to definitely pick up another pair in a darker wash now that I know how they fit. I also love these as a switch from skinny jeans, for those "fat" days. ;) I paired them with my most favorite tee, this lace detailed tee from H&M and my sued Seychelles wedges in cognac. I must say, these are one of the most comfortable wedges I have. They're comfortable to walk in and have a pretty wide step and are cushioned for extra comfort. Today was a dress down day for us at work, so I got an opportunity to show my "relaxed" side.

Nautical Vibes!

Hello All!

Just a quick post of my OOTD from yesterday. The weather in NYC has finally broke and we're seeing some sunshine and warmer temps. I decided to wear a super cute striped nautical dress I found in H&M this week and I finally found a olive green safari jacket that I LOVE! It's exactly what I've been looking for and was only $50. You can't beat that.

Dress- H&M
Leggings-H&M
Jacket- H&M
Wedges- INC & Co. Macy's

I'll be back later with my OOTD from today!
