Thank goodness it's Thursday and we're that much closer to the weekend! As I mentioned in my last post, yesterday I was determined to use my Banana republic 40% off coupon to scoop up the beautiful and classic trench coat. Well, it wasn't as easy as I thought. I headed on my lunch break to the nearest BR and confident they would have my size in stock, but of course, THEY DIDN'T! I wanted to cry. I was there last week and they had soo many but I guess everyone had the same idea I did. I asked the sales associate to check in the back for a Small, but no luck. They then checked to see what other stores in the city had a small and located one farther uptown and put it on hold for me. I headed back to the office a little sad but hopeful it would be mine by the end of the day. I called a few other stores closer to me and all were out of stock in size small and petite medium. Wow, this trench is a hit!
After work, I headed uptown and there it was, on hold for me, my trench! I tried it on one more time and the fir was perfect. It hit above the knee, shoulders were perfect, belted lovely. Everything about this trench is great! Not to mention, with my coupon it came out to $129! The original price was $198 and with tax it would have been at least $220 so I saved almost $100! This is by far one of the best purchases I made this year so far and I can't wait to rock it this Spring. Now, if the weather would just cooperate. I'll post some IRL pics later but here's a stock picture.
